There are differences between National Parks,
National Recreation Areas, National Seashores
and the other types of places that make up the
U.S. National Park System.

For example, sometimes it is possible to hunt in a
National Monument or in a National Recreation Area--
but you can never hunt in a National Park.

Another example:
only a place along
the beach can be called
a National Seashore.

And, of course, you would only give
the name National Parkway to a road--
and never to a mountain!
